Hello, my name is Dr. Norman Wood. I founded the American Man Group to help patriotic American men and women to bring common sense and morals back to our country, to counter the destructive DEI, CRT, Woke, and Cancel Culture ideologies to reverse the de-masculinization of American men, the loss of respect for law and order, and the de-feminization of American women. To stand tall together and take our country back. And remember, there are a lot more of us than them.
About myself and please bear with me. I returned to my home state of West Virginia in 2019 after being the Medical Director for the Kittitas Medical Center, Cle Elum, WA, and before that the Medical Director for the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Bremerton, WA. Years ago, I graduated with honors from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997.
Before medicine, I was an undercover Special Agent for the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, US Customs Service, San Francisco, CA. In 1988, I made the largest drug seizure in history, fifty-six tons of narcotics. Street value was over one billion dollars.
The Russian KGB and military were trying to collect one hundred million dollars to fund a planned coup of General Secretary Makhail Gorbachev in 1989. To do this, they were going to smuggling one hundred tons of narcotics into the United States with the help of an ex-con, Calvin Robinson, who was a friend of convicted Russian spy Christopher Boyce.
As a result of what we were able to do, the coup was cancelled until December 1991, when it failed. The USSR was dissolved, the KGB disbanded and the Cold War ended. I left the government in March of 1992, to attend medical school. If you go to YouTube.com and search Special Agent Norman Wood, you will find a video of that time.
I now have four published novels, Red Sword, Thorn, Checkmate, and The President Said Kill Him. I have a fifth novel in the works. My first two novels, Red Sword and Thorn are about the San Francisco case. They are available on Amazon. My undercover name was Tony Davis.
I am also an inventor with four awarded US Patents for safety harness designs. I recently completed a fire escape system for firefighters and anyone living or working in a high-rise building.
Prior to federal service, I was a West Virginia State Trooper. One of the proudest accomplishments of my life was graduating from the West Virginia State Police Academy, 31st Cadet Class in 1978, as the Outstanding Cadet. I served my beloved state with honor alongside my other brother and sister Troopers.
Before law enforcement, I was an iron worker and helped build the I-470 bridge across the Ohio River at Wheeling. There is not a harder working group of men.
I am a divorced father of four wonderful sons and a beautiful daughter. I also have seven grandchildren. And you will never hear me speak negatively about my former marriages. At one time, we were very much in love and we share wonderful children.
Hence, I have had a vast array of experiences and like all of you, some were good and some not so good. However, I believe I have learned from them, at least I hope so.
I am very concerned about the destructive forces that are now influencing every aspect of our country. The DEI, CRT, Woke, and Cancel Culture ideologies are supplanting the positive nature of our great nation. What was once rightly viewed as obscene and illegal, is now being forced on us as acceptable and normal. Our once beautiful cities are trashed due to the lawlessness allowed by the liberal politicians and bureaucrats. And our nation is being overrun by illegal aliens who have not come to this country legally.
The American man is now being made to feel that he must suppress his masculinity or he is viewed as misogynistic, trans or homophobic, of having toxic masculinity, or he is a racist. And let me be clear, there is no such thing as toxic masculinity. You are either masculine, or you are not. And now the American women is being ridiculed for being feminine. Does this make sense to anyone?
After almost twenty years in law enforcement and now over twenty-five years in medicine, I can tell you these radical ideologies are designed falsehoods that must be challenged at every step and eliminated. Evil prevails when good men and women do nothing. The time is now for all of us to stand strong against this harmful insanity that is destroying our nation.
We need strong masculine men to stand firm for their families, law and order, and this country. To teach young boys and girls there are consequences to their actions. Without this discipline and knowledge, many of our youth will continue to make mistakes they may never recover from. Many will die.
That discipline starts with a good strong man or father figure helping the woman or mother. Without this, we will continue to fail our children in many ways. I never feared my mother after the age of ten, I feared my father until I became a man.
We are a pretty divided nation right now and we all need to pull together. At American Man Group, we are not extremist. We are not ideologues. We seek the truth for the betterment of all of us, our children and our country. And we are not afraid to voice those truths.
I do know this, most people are good and decent people, and if given the truth about an issue, they will make good and decent decisions. Currently, it’s hard to believe anything you see, hear, or read from the mainstream media. Some, for reasons of power and wealth, do not want the truth about an issue to be known. They fear a knowledgeable electorate.
That is what the American Man Group will give you, THE TRUTH, and then let the chips fall where they may. The American Man Group will represent patriotic American men and women who feel that over the past few decades, the masculinity of American men, morality, the rule of law, free speech, the family structure, parental rights, this nation, our Christian beliefs, and just plain old common sense have suffered because of radical societal pressures. And now American women are being criticized for being feminine.
The American Man Group will fight this fight with civility and respectful dialog when possible, but we will never be afraid to call a spade a spade. I have learned over my years in law enforcement, that a strong unyielding man who is not afraid to do what is necessary and right, stops many bad behaviors before they start.
And during a hotly debated issue a truthful, logical, respectful and properly explained argument will consistently win the consensus by countering lies, falsehoods and misconceptions. While I fully understand that some people feel ignorance is a virtue, that still does not lessen the importance of this task or our resolve at American Man Group.
Throughout our history, this country has come together at times of strife. We find ourselves once more in that position. How many of us think the country would be better off if we returned to the social atmosphere that we had growing up? To have a fear of God, to learn respect for family and each other, and to suffer the consequences of our bad acts? That is how we learn, not from "Safe Spaces" and an endless list of "Triggers."
Mothers, do you feel it is safe to let your children go out as we did at that age? I doubt it. I miss those years, not for myself, but for our children who will not know the goodness that came from those times spent with friends. We need to get back to that.
The American Man Group will also help men and women understand each other better for a stronger and more loving relationship. It seems that an invisible wedge has been placed between men, women and the family structure in this country. There is a beautiful natural order that we need to get back to, and stop the radical left that wants to destroy the family structure. Without the family structure, this nation will fail.
Men and women are not alike. Not even close and thank God. Women are special and men must treat them that way. Men must protect and care for them whenever it is needed. Men must show respect and honor to them, that is being a good masculine American man. Women are the givers of life, they are our mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters. It is the man's responsibility to ensure their safety.
So, I started the American Man Group, and our motto is “Act Like You Have A Pair”. I will be producing a weekly blog and eventual podcasts on this website, and I will speak at as many venues as I can. Utilizing my past life experiences, the input of good American women and men, I will pass valuable information to help all of us better understand each other, improve our relationships, and this country.
At the forefront of this is for American men to understand they MUST be masculine. Not to do so is a betrayal of your very existence. The war on masculine men is also now against women who want to be feminine. This is not only wrong, and against nature, but is just plain stupid.
Good men and women are what God intended us to be. The people that argue otherwise are arguing against the laws of nature and mankind. That argument is never valid, always asinine and we will point that out at every opportunity.
Men, you will be very pleased when you learn what the majority of women actually feel about men being good masculine men. Trust me, most women would much prefer to have a good strong man in their lives. A good man is just that, a good man. He fears God and seeks to be a better man everyday.
Ladies, if you want men to be strong men again, I need you to help us. We can’t do this without you. Frankly, ladies, you can say things men would be soundly criticized for. Women can express themselves to other women in ways that men can never do. This is why your involvement is critical. You can affect this outcome in ways a man can’t for the benefit of everyone. And ladies, you're now in the crosshairs too, these crazy left wing radicals want to cancel feminine American women. I won't accept this and neither should you.
Most men won’t say it but ladies, we need you to have our backs. If you feel this country has diminished in the principles that are important to you, if you feel the American man’s role has been wrongly maligned or weakened, our laws ignored, our Christian beliefs mocked, traditional family values removed, our natural authority over our children’s wellbeing diminished, please support us. Your support and input are much needed for our success.
Men, it’s time we take back our place in this world and not be intimidated for being a strong masculine American man. This organization will allow you to more forcefully express your pride in being who you are and not feel like we are constantly dodging politically incorrect bullets. Stand strong for your women, your daughters, their femininity, family and country. This is the very purpose of American Man Group, we have your six.
I have a history of being able to do some difficult things. But without your support, I can’t do this. And if we don’t try, nothing will ever change, and this country will continue to decline. I’m not willing to accept that, are you?
